Pink and Main Spring Challenge - Triple Layer Spring Card

Pink and Main Spring Challenge - Triple Layer Spring Card

Another day, another challenge. After my first entry in a stamping challenge ever on my last blog I cant seem to find enough of them. Today I am entering my newest card in to the Pink and Main Challenge, number 29. The theme for this one is 'spring'.

When I think of spring I think of light florals, pretty blooming trees, wild flowers and warmth. I wanted to capture that feeling in this card.

I decided to do a triple layer card using paper from the "Looking Good" paper pad by Craft Smith. I cut my paper down in to the largest dimensions of my layer then used my rectangle dies to cut out the center.

Next I matted the layers with light pink paper that is an eighth of an inch wider than the floral paper on each side.

I had a cute sentiment picked out for this card but as I got closer to finishing I was lead to go a different way. I tried a triple bow that matched my mats and I loved the way it came out. I glued the bow down and I was done.

This card is simple to make but looks a lot harder. If you visit the Pink and Main Challenge blog I'll be entry 19. Thanks for visiting.
